Self exile from the world outside Driven by the torment that binds Him to a fear so familiar It becomes a dark reclusive shelter Dead inside, riddled with contempt Memories plagued with crimes of war Once he had a life built on passion Now overshadowed by his dark obsession With art not to be seen And inspired by his damaged psyche In the thick of night his paints would flow On the walls that enclose his soul Sun sets on another day With candles lit, he paints the night away Bearing all on a canvas of stone An exhibition for his eyes alone His eyes alone Concepts and mindset Secrets that surpass his death History has lost the key Open eyes but too blind to see His mind is lost but not his mastery Of the arts, his only sanctity He touched the very world that spat him out Consumed by the shadow of his doubt He can no longer face society A hermit that fades to obscurity The last remaining old great master Francisco Goya The Black Paintings Beauty from the troubles that plagued him The Black Paintings Mystery surrounds their meaning The Black Paintings Beauty from the troubles that plagued him The Black Paintings Mystery surrounds the meaning Of art not to be seen And inspired by his damaged psyche In the thick of night his paints would flow On the walls of that enclose his soul Sun sets on another day With candles lit, he paints the night away Bearing all on a canvas of stone An exhibition for his eyes alone The Black Paintings Beauty from the troubles that plagued him The Black Paintings Mystery surrounds their meaning Mystery surrounds their meaning Since the death of the great Francisco Goya

She was birthed into being from the Gods The will of the fire is to enlist The divine to make her extraordinary Spoken mastery A name gift to thee With capacity for deep emotion Attention to detail and craftsmanship But is her curious mind a blessing or a curse? Pandora Cast into the world With a burden to possess Box sealed shut from mortal eyes Cruel temptress to resist She was the world’s first mortal woman And her heart she gifted to a titan But love alone could not compete with The burning desire inside for the unknown Increasing obsession With the contents of the box What treasure could be so great That the God’s would torture her this way? Its growing enigma becomes maddening She is convinced That she can hear faint whispering The lid has been seen rattling Something straining to be free Her fingers are itching To prise it open wide To face the secrets Of whatever could be locked inside Increasing obsession With the contents of the box What treasure could be so great That the God’s would torture her this way? Its growing enigma becomes maddening Her gift was her curse That she could no longer ignore Drowning in her thoughts Consumed with the need to know what God’s withhold Herein unknown forces beckon forth Calling her name Screaming her name! Pandora She was birthed into being from the Gods The will of the fire is to enlist The divine to make her extraordinary Spoken mastery A name gift to thee With capacity for deep emotion Attention to detail and craftsmanship But is her curious mind a blessing or a curse? Pandora Caving into her nature How bad could it be? Surely just one peep in secrecy But little did she know The lid flew open wide Monstrous creatures and horrendous sounds Engulfed the room in a vicious fog Filled with terror Clawing desperately at the air Trying to redirect evil back to its prison A wave of foreboding and dread Watching on helpless as they billowed swiftly away Downfall was obsession With the contents of the box Straight into their hand she played Of the God’s that made her with these traits Its growing enigma is a weight lifted Source of evil Sorrow and disease Madness and greed Scourge upon humanity But a superfluous glow Still remains inside the box It fills her with warmth A light in the darkness She releases it with glee A beacon for the world Is the ultimate gift of hope Her gift of hope

Once a year the monster rises from his grave A shuffling corpse that a curse reanimates A heart that’s dead, silent in his chest His mouth is wide and eyes as dull as lead Many tales of this man that walks the gloom Gone are the days of those weeping at his tomb Those living near in a state of constant fear Of this man, this beast, this blood drinker Lock your doors and windows tightly Do not tread on this night so lightly Subjects to his wickedness Disappear in the darkness Warding off evil with praise To a God absent this day That night when the Upiór Comes knocking at your door Unholy beast that needs to feed On your blood, he must revel in agony But why does he moan in sorrow? Are his needs not his desire? Lock your doors and windows tightly Do not tread on this night so lightly Subjects to his wickedness Disappear in the darkness Warding off evil with praise To a God absent this day That night when the Upiór Comes knocking at your door With eyes like oceans You could drown in his pain Your final moments in his gaze While blood rushes from your veins Read between the lines and maybe you’ll see His soul is as much as a victim as thee No escape from this purgatory Year by year, endless cycle of tragedy Fresh corpses found drained In the wake of a new day Not a single drop of blood In pigmentless flesh and veins With eyes like oceans, they drowned in his pain Terror etched on their face But when sounds of bells fade That fourth and final Sunday Return to earth, strength expired Asleep again in churchyard mire Breast bathed in blood From wounds first made Those who cannot forgive his sin Barley mask that they despise And screw a smile above their chin Fashion mercy with their eyes Unholy beast that needs to feed On your blood, he must revel in agony But why does he moan in sorrow? Are his needs not his desire? Lock your doors and windows tightly Do not tread on this night so lightly Subjects to his wickedness Disappear in the darkness Warding off evil with praise To a God absent this day That night when the Upiór Comes knocking at your door When does this bloodshed end? When each year he rises again Stuck in a loop, blood thick on his hands What Godless curse enslaves this man? With eyes like oceans You could drown in his pain Your final moments in his gaze While blood rushes from your veins

The woman that weeps Overcome with her own grief Drowned her two sons And herself in the deep Seething with rage Disillusioned from heartbreak Cast aside by the one that she loved Retribution at the ultimate cost Of everything Inflicting guilt for her suffering For his seediness and betrayal Loathsome likeness etched on innocent faces In that moment she saw was red Filled with regret that her children are dead Lifeless and limp in her arms "Where are my children? What have I done?" Restless in death Pale white complexion with a contorted face Floating above the still and peaceful water She wails and she weeps Calling out in despair All children beware The tragic lure of La Llorona Patrolling the shores In the search of fresh souls To replace those she stole That fateful night of her own suicide In that moment she saw was red Filled with regret that her children are dead Lifeless and limp in her arms "Where are my children? What have I done?" Her soul is cursed Forever to roam this God forsaken earth Killing all those who hear her tune And now, she’s coming for you! "Mis hijos! Mis hijos! Dónde están mis hijos?" Children her pray She seeks to undo the wrongs of that day But in her twisted perception She knows not The difference between Those she murdered and lost All children beware The tragic wail of La Llorona Ensnared in hands rife with decay She drags them to a watery grave Seething with rage Disillusioned from heartbreak Cast aside by the one that she loved Retribution at the ultimate cost Of everything Her selfishness leaves grief struck families A trail of destruction, in her wake The bodies pile high From each life that she takes That fateful night of her own suicide In that moment she saw was red Filled with regret that her children are dead Lifeless and limp in her arms "Where are my children? What have I done?" Her soul is cursed Forever to roam this God forsaken earth Killing all those who hear her tune And now, she’s coming for you! Now lay in the bed that you made!

Meet in the shadows of midnight hour When the restless and earth conspires Worlds that are bounded through grief and loss A star formed with five lines crossed From otherworldly depths of fire Driven only by hearts desire Forbidden spells cast of necromancy Desecrate all that to be holy We summon forth the lost and the damned Giving life back that was stolen Speaking in tongues unknown to thee Straight from the void of eternity In this circle we stand Unholy rites with bloodstained hands Spirits of wrath from the abyss Two tongues forked, a serpent’s hiss Rotting corpses claw at the ground Crawling from graves of eternal slumber Where the living dare not tread Whispering secrets of the forgotten dead Flickering lights were the candles wane Invoke the darkness Embrace the pain A portal opened to hellish lands Freed from the grips of deaths unholy hand Rejoice in the rise of the fallen Ghosts and corpses, hear our calling Clashing of worlds both living and dead In a crime against nature they rise again In this circle we stand Unholy rites with bloodstained hands Spirits of wrath from the abyss Two tongues forked, a serpent’s hiss Between this world and the next The veil is torn beyond repair The spirits cry out Their souls perplexed Bound to our world with the ancient tongue Echoes of anguish The dirge is sung What was once held sacred in this life undone The night devours the feeble light As spirits feast on our mortal fright With this curse now cast Our pact has been sealed Unknown the full extents of our act To one and all, our fates revealed Forefather’s Eve When the living and dead convene Hearts pained with sorrow and grief Reunite with spells of necromancy They cannot control The hoards of hell that the gates behold At hells behest Souls are kept by whom the God’s detest No mercy will be shown to the living Massacre all with a heart that is still beating Human flesh flayed Life’s sanctity they desecrate Torn limb from limb They eviscerate the human soul In fear recoil, it is death to all Reunited with ancestors in the soil Blood sacrifice to pay All of the human race An eternity of pain For all the souls they enslave The spirits cry out Their souls perplexed Bound to our world with the ancient tongue Echoes of anguish The dirge is sung What was once held sacred in this life undone The night devours the feeble light As spirits feast on our mortal fright Forefather’s Eve When the living and dead convene Hearts pained with sorrow and grief Reunite with spells of necromancy Forefather’s Eve When the living and dead convene Hearts pained with sorrow and grief Reunite with spells of necromancy

Confusive dreams on repeat Memories breed a false reality A prism distorting the light Of a fractured mind Lost are the gateways Little hope to recover No contact could be made Neural paths torn asunder No grasp of reality or time Trapped in his head Whilst the world passes by Hours that turn into months, then to years Sands in perpetual motion Like an hourglass without gravity Yet still the external sounds can be heard Piercing straight through the veil Blackest depths of his unconsciousness Stuck between land of dead and living Body degraded Breath and heart Beating aided A family torn apart With time doubts mount up and grow To consume all their hope Tears are held back behind glistening eyes Doctors advise of the dire chances to survive The time to pull the plug will soon come Death waits for no one But internally he is screaming out for their help Trying desperately to break free from himself Circling the labyrinth When a light draws him closer Somehow different Voices louder in the ether Each step he paces becomes faster and faster The light in which he chases Becomes ever further No grasp of reality or time Trapped in his head Whilst the world passes by Hours that turn into months, then to years Sands in perpetual motion Like an hourglass without gravity A coma so deep they cannot comprehend Any change to his medical profile To them he is already dead! Stuck between land of dead and living Body degraded Breath and heart Beating aided A family torn apart With time doubts mount up and grow To consume all their hope Inner sanctum, turned to chaos The minds eye Is the only sense he has left to rely Should he trust or deny? When the artist is a blind man leading the blind Tears are held back behind glistening eyes Doctors advise of the dire chances to survive The time to pull the plug will soon come Death waits for no one The glare from the white light Now engulfs all of his vision As the walls around him start to close His heart beating like a war drum fading Feeling his life force slowly draining The beeps from machines decline in their rhythmical pacing Looking back at all that you know The time has come to let go The time has come to let go
