This is the future we feared a dystopian nightmare realised a defining moment in our history an era of seismic misery we are children of catastrophe we are pawns in a game of tragedy we are victims of tyranny we are captives in a cage of austerity This is the future we feared a dystopian nightmare realised the darkest days of humanity an age of cataclysmic agony we are children of adversity we are orphans of a failed society we are casualties of negligence political prisoners left for dead This is not a brave new world this is the dawn of global fascism this is not a brave new world this is an age of disaster capitalism this is not a brave new world this is an era of neoliberalism this is not a brave new world this is the death of democracy This is not a pop culture apocalypse this is our harsh new reality this is the downfall of humanity it’s the end of the world as we know it and we’re fucked!
