The sky of stars above me surrounded by the gloom Wandering black forests of eternal doom Surrounded by the thickets in the forest of the mind Far from ways well traveled The light is hard to find Eyes watch me closely The moonrise hits the sky Nocturnal life awakens I fear the end is nigh The sky of stars above me surrounded by the gloom Wandering black forests of eternal doom Spirits of the ancient past Now arise to haunt again I called them in days gone by But I can't remember when Now I hear the walking one[?] He's calling me to come Sacrifice to ancient gods I am the chosen one So it is I find myself in the darkest night Wandering the silent depths without aid of light Hidden eyes watch me climb to hang my rope on high Mighty oak, now give your strength and hold me as I die In the dark of the trees No light filters through I dreamed an eternal dream And nothing else was true Eyes watch me closely Death now fills my mind Eternal life awakens The one-eyed man is blind A sky of stars above me surrounded by the gloom Wandering black forests of eternal doom
