The shadows lay across the land Where we spurred horses on Swords Be sharp and helms be blessed The 5 will ride at dawn They’re From the west In the castle of gold And they’ve seen much battle Hear prophecy of old Has come to pass Woe to the unbeliever 5 will ride at dawn Witness the cities burning now Laying waste to earth there the guardians made a vow that their power shall preserve Demons walk amongst men No warning no sign at all The hammer went smack No use turning back Daybreak has come The 5 ride out at dawn On the mist veiled hills With the great trees upon Power received, and lives are given Mortal men will depart the path The 5 will ride at dawn Judgement day the serpent arrives A fell beast preserved in time The blade is drawn The night is long The 5 ride out at dawn
