In endless struggle always stumbling Into the next disaster We live out worthless lives Engines – out of fuel – are rotting Not bringing us forth As we exploit the last parts of our home The machinists have resigned Whilst admirals were fighting Suddenly gravity Pulls us down into an uncertain end As the scientist gives up As our ship is falling Into the atmosphere I'm longing for revenge I've heard the war guns firing Into the atmosphere But I'm falling with myself
