John is my name, this lonely desert, my home. Silence, hunger and cold 'r the company I need. Wake up, I've got a dream, I bring the news That ye were waiting! The water of the Jordan Will wash away The sins of Galilee. Don't call me prophet! Why can't you see? I'm just a messenger, Harp hanging from a tree. Elijah's voice, Crying in the desert. With many names they have called me But still they don't want to see. I bring the news of the greatest change and They just see water in my hand. Wake up, a man is coming, A special one, With fire he'll finish What I just began. He'll grow a forest, Where I left some seeds. With many names they have called me But still they don't want to see. I bring the news of the greatest change and They just see water in my hand. Oh my Lord, to set them free I've tried so many ways, I've warned and prayed Cried and waited, Bended on my knee. A new time is coming soon, Plenty of signs around me. A cross is ready up the hill for the man Who can forgive what I can't. A new time is coming soon, That I will never see. The price paid for a dance under the moon My head on plate, will be. Thanks, Salome...

The two men look at each other, Both have a role in this story, But one of them won't understand. Fate curious irony. Once my wife dreamed of you, I wondered what it'd mean. But no fault I've seen, Into your words. Pilatus, governor, listen to us! We are the priests of Jerusalem, Has to die, this blasphemous man Who shamelessly swears curses and lies! He's here to keep peace, The peace of Rome. Peace at any cost. Always. People of Galilee, Pick one to save. For one that'll be free, One'll die. He's here to keep peace, The peace of Rome. Peace at any cost. Always. What is your choice? Jesus the King, Or this Barabbas The thief? The will of these people is clear, There's nothing more he can do. The crowd claims the life of this man No reason to say "no". Blood ran through his hands many times But this one burns like fire would. Water won't wash away this mark No, nothing now it could!

Who says you can always pick your path Has never been on a battle field Sometimes there isn't a real choice If you are David or Goliath Isn't up to you. Time passes by and leaves just sand Fading memories of men and lives Heroes out of the shadows of time Tiny men shaking like autumn leaves. So may happen that a shepherd Talks too much and falls in trouble Marks the story Kills a giant, Find his glory! A man in a shining armor, A giant spreading fear! Soldiers running, shame on Israel! But a young shepherd defends his flock. Hunter of lions and wolves, Isn't a giant just another man? Doesn't he wear a blade? Doesn't he fear his arm? Oh, David is young! Doesn't he wear a blade? Doesn't he fear his arm? Oh, David is brave! Eyes of a giant cannot see Pride pays a fee David is smart, David is fast Heavy is the sword Quick is the dart Silence around Goliath stands Slowly he moves Then closes his eyes Eyes of a giant cannot see Pride pays a fee David is smart, David is fast Heavy is the sword Quick is the dart Now lies the warrior on his knees And none believes Now lies the giant on his fours Soldiers cannot breath. One in the sand in his own blood One in the air Raises the envy of a king, A new story begins.

Sand moved by the hand of God Shakes those worn tents Sleeps the scared tribe of Israel With both eyes searching the darkness. Poor memories packed with love, Men and goats, same fear. Stands in the wind, Aaron the Levite, Looks at his brother across the night. Half freedom is nothing but slavery. Seven times, Egypt they wounded. But bloody rivers, snakes or sticks, It's just a trick. Blind men walking towards nowhere, Now, we are talking 'bout magic. A promised land they'll never see. And this is faith. Faith that guides the steps Faith against any hope Faith against reasons In a promise that will be kept Cruel Egypt seeking revenge No way back, no more. What a hard duty to be free, This freezing desert all what you get. I've seen the sand of Palestine I've seen the Jordan The fruits the fields, the land of Cain. And forty years of hunger and pain. Yes, God spoke to me, one day, He showed the way. But I'm a man with no certainty. And they have only one, they've me. Faith that guides the steps Faith against any hope Faith against reasons In a promise that will be kept

It's beautiful, Look, how it shines! Not just a coin: It's silver. It is the price Of a human life Look, how it shines! Between the trees, A little man cries, Shadows on his face Empty eyes. Accomplished destiny, Someway we can say. A little man cries. Thirty coins, Shining silver Thrown in the air by Juda's hand. Last night dinner, We knew he was lost Soldiers all around. He was lost. He looked at us, Deep into our souls, Little weak things. It was written Someone would betray. A kiss like a mark. That same is he! Just I can't see, Since all he knew, Why not to stop me. Where can I hide? How to forget The days I spent On his side? I can stand hate But not those eyes, All that forgiveness So much love. Where can I hide? How to forget The days I spent On his side? Death is silence, Eternal regret. The last escape, Without peace. Not far away, Thirty silver coins Paid a cross of pain.

Eli, Eli Eli Lema Sabactani! Oh, why hast thou forsaken me? Eli, Eli Eli Lema Sabactani! Why love asks for so much pain? Rough wood scorches my skin Each step is harder Pain, deep like a sin. Blood over my eyes But I can hear Yesterday friends laughs. My heart won't bring me up there Breath doesn't come. Laughs everywhere. Pitiless sun burns my throat No friendly faces To calm this thirst. Who's him, what did he do? A fool who had a dream A lover without sin Law won't allow a king with no crown John, brothers, where are ye? Peter, Denying me. Love doesn't fear wounds, Father, But this poor body shakes... Nails through bones A cross is made Pain makes us all the same These two men At my side Would deserve a better fate. I won't go I won't leave As he didn't leave me I was lost With no pride Then one day he smiled. Silently a woman cries Little whispers of pain Fading slowly at sunset Three crosses in the rain No, father! Not her, no! This is not for her eyes Now I know, Bring her away This is a price well paid Seventh hour One single cry I know it's over now Donno how So much to say But I just ran away Silently a woman cries Little whispers of pain Fading slowly at sunset Three crosses in the rain T'was a price well paid The corpse seems to smile T'was a price well paid

I wonder what my father would say today, If he could see me in this weird place. He that never went a mile away, He that never left his land nor his boat. My bones are stiff, my beard is long and gray, My tired eyes confuse shadows and lights. Still with iron chains they tied my wrists. How much can an old man scare an empire! Chains have no power Won't stop his words Won't stop thoughts from running away. Outside the sun shines The old man smiles And closes his eyes. I went so far away! No fisherman ever Made such a long way. Nets are too heavy, To catch bigger fish, you need to fly. Painfully, sits the old men on the floor Passes the spring through the air. They build a cross, They think is funny. An honor that I don't deserve. The day is sunny I pity them For all what they miss. "Kephas is your name" This once he said "And on this stone something we'll build" I wish I had known Heavy is the weight A stone has to hold. Iron and walls To bury an idea Iron and walls For an old man Who smiles, closes his eyes and flies away So many friends are waiting for me out there Death does not scare me, why should She? Sometimes I can't remember the faces But their words are still with me. Bit of pain doesn't count When time has come. I just hope he has forgotten Now that time has gone Three "no" of fear I said on that mount. Iron and walls To bury an idea Iron and walls For an old man Who can fly away...

Thundering nothing, Revolving darkness. Then He said "light", and light was. And stars and anything. Favourite angel, And lux ferentes. Burning of blind jealousy For the Creation He loves. Little men Shadows and nights Universe from a single thought. Angels at war, Shaking the sky. Ages or seconds. He did not move, He did not raise. Just painfully looked. Hell is not burning, Is frozen and dry. A heart who cannot repent, Tears eternally hold. Black stormy mirror, Cruelly reflecting A blind worm trapped in the dark, Condemned to remember.

Oh, yes, 'bout this we all agree, It wasn't just a little apple, Even if we picked it from a tree. Really, was a solemn pact made That we weren't able to keep, A matter of betrayed faith. Hear God's voice! Fear his rage! Any fruit was ours, all the wealth, Except for the one forbidden: Peace, silence, eternal health. "Take it" slowly hissed the snake, "It's so juicy, why exitate? He just fears your race to wake!" Respect the pact! Knowledge we wanted a and full knowledge we've gotten Of the bad things on Earth not one we've forgotten. Now that we know hunger, cold, pain and neglect, Still hopeless hopes are left. Fast are passing by the years in this harsh land Aches the back under the farm work, bleed the hands. Now that we know hunger, cold, pain and neglect, Still hopeless hopes are left. Her beauty is fading away, but not her smile Weakness helps a new wisdom to grow deep inside. Short life of pain, just one regret, The shame of a promise unkept. Pain is needed Pleasure to feel, Hate is required Love to believe. Oh, Eve is aging, but not for my eyes! God still waits us, Keeps the garden, Where one day our Children will play. Oh, Eve is aging, but so isn't our love! And if I look into her eyes untouched by time, I still see memories of a lost paradise. Now that we know hunger, cold, pain and neglect, Still hopeless hopes are left. Short life of pain, just one regret, The shame of a promise unkept.

Under the chains, meat gets rotten, I've counted this stones every day I had forgotten To have a debt to pay But now I know. Her beauty sweet like poison, All she's taken. But now I have awaken Now I am back! Pain, when tendons and muscles seem to crack. God, make me the shadow of the man I was Now that I've nothing left finally all is clear I am back. For the empty promises whispered in the wind, For the days that won't return, the lost joy For my freedom, for the betrayal that loosed my mind, They'll all will pay. Where is his strength? He's just a child, Trapped in the body of a man. Clever woman! Or just cruel... Empty promises of love. You asked his trust, And then you laughed. Kissing your mouth he got lost. Down in the jail, Dreaming revenge. Blind tears in the dark. Women are a matter of lust, Their beauty only a sweet trap. They talk of trust, They want you to believe The day they leave. She took my name, pride and glory, She was my shame, She sold my freedom, Throw me in jail. Pain, when tendons and muscles seem to crack. They took my eyes but I'll see my revenge. Tonight will be different, tonight all will change. I am back. I hear her voice between the songs, I hear her laugh. Life is running away, but they'll come with me! And laughs can easily turn into cries, as she taught. So red was her mouth: Cracks in the roof. The child has grown. Hard a lesson has learnt. Clever woman! Or just cruel... Empty promises of love. You asked his trust, And then you laughed. On your mouth he got lost. Revenge taste's strange Bitter and sweet Like blind tears in the dark. Revenge taste's strange Bitter and sweet Like sadness and love.

The patrol is here! Hide in the darkness! Quick come with me, Silent or lost. The mark we refused, The beast has no mercy. We are the game, He's the hunter! Forty two months has ruled Over kings and kingdoms. Over the Earth. His wicked miracles Have poisoned our dreams. Black thorns of despair. Run, behind the corner! Run, into the shadow! Quick, man! Quick. Crazy wizards reign. Wise men hiding, Waiting a sign. Seven seals broken, Now rules the beast. Evil is loosen over the world. Seven seals broken, Seven trumpets played. The age of darkness has come on Earth. But in the deepest, In the darkest hour, Still someone has not lost his heart When no one believes, When fear only rules, Still someone has not lost his hopes. Beware of a lamb, Vane emperor! It's time: The Age of the Return Has come! In a white cloud I've seen Death coming with a crown. They are here. Oh evil Babylon, Which lie will save you Now that they have come? Ten cruel kings of the world, Blasphemous alliance It's the end. One thousand years Will last his reign of love. Now I'm hiding But soon I'll raise It's time... The age of the return Has come! Beware of a lamb, Vane emperor! It's time... The age of the return Has come! Seven seals broken Now rules the beast Evil is loosen over the world Seven seals broken Seven trumpets played The age of darkness has come on Earth But in the deepest In the darkest hour Still someone has not lost his heart When no one believes When fear only rules Still someone has not lost his hopes.
