Beyond the pale Where the edge of sanity lies In a land of darkness Ruled by sin and blackened skies Plunged into the wild To face the unknown Unaware that what awaits Is the crucible for your soul Sent to cast out midnight and spread the vile light While children of lies roam the shadows out of sight The savage and papist wait in the abyss But you fear not the dark so let the feast begin They are near Night raids In waning twilight as doom whispers in your mind Dark souls traverse the meadow ghostly and white While you slumber enraptured by the divine The enemy has arrived with fire death and ice The prophet of dark words is the heathen's prize Bound, watch the infants slaughtered through tear-filled eyes The world is a flame, blood stains the snow Hate fills your mind as agony pierces your soul Fear The night raids First rays of dawn Light a tapestry of despair As the songs of sorrow Ring throughout the air So many taken north Captive and bound While the bodies of the dead Are cast into the frozen ground Beyond the pale in a world of hate and lies As fires of the holy mission light the northern sky Dark words seep from the prophet's mind Poisoning the flock, they spell the doom of mankind With mind corrupted and your heart led astray You chose the path of weakness and hatred to assuage The terror faced in the depths of the unknown So finally, at last, in every ounce of your soul The night begins
