Beneath the silent skies My heart, it yields to the endless dark Better it would be If it failed and fell in the ashes Within these silent cries Regret grows, and the pain it sows Better it would be If the serene sleep took me away A change of heart I loathe the shadows that I have brought With these ice-cold hands I hate the person that I've become Old is the morning sun That rise to bring life to all Better it would be If it was the last one to behold My lungs collapse Heart filled with sorrow and pain Another day The dark thoughts won't go away Yearning for the end I no longer grasp for the frozen breath I've swallowed the ice Now I drift away in the darkest night Among the spirits I'll roam The dark, the silent and the cold Drifting further away As times go without me here Beneath the silent skies Within these silent cries Yearning for the end A light blinds me from afar Old is the morning star That rise to bring warmth to all She took my hand And heat spread to my darkest thoughts A change of heart I loathe the shadows that I have brought With these ice-cold hands I hate the person that I've become

The Birds no longer sing In this frozen tale Of an age long ago The hardened ice on his chin The frost covering the soil of life From dusk til dawn - the warmth never came Trailing further away With sorrow embracing him All hope was long gone So much the world wanted from him Too much a single man can bear Weighted down with sorrow He walked forever on Dying away in the freezing wind No one will recall his name Distantly his mother weeps Still the man roamed forever on Darkness prevails In the absence of life The fires of life Extinguished inside The solemn whisper Of a fiend inside Guides the way To the endless night Dying away in the freezing wind No one will recall his name Distantly his mother weeps Still the man roamed forever on

Far away, beyond the light The dark grows ever endlessly Where the raven forever sleeps Where the shadows rest 'til break of day Sore are these dying legs From journeying these forgotten plains The eyes tear from ethereal winds As the tide of frost reaches me Beyond the stars lies the spring of solemn sleep Where the mother lies in wait to welcome another dying son Snow falling on the barren soil As the night's shadows envelops me For aeons, I've fought this endless existence Alas, the day has come Far above the highest peak, a wind groans a deafening cry Distantly, the ocean weeps to call upon the ending path Sky breaks with blinding light Breaking the chains of mortal life The soul exhales with solitude As the mother comes ever closer to me Beyond the stars lies the spring of solemn sleep Where the mother welcomes me as I enter the endless void In the night, I await you, above the sphere of life Oh, celestial being, pull out my dying heart In the night, I will find you, great mother of death Oh, celestial being, remove this soul of mine Snow falling on the barren soil As the night's shadows envelops me For aeons, I've fought this endless existence Alas, the day has come
