The wings of the sky Caress the limp body Suspended heart beating synthetic The breath of the earth choir calls When does it stop speaking to you? Cathartic release Spirit passed through this mortal Sheath This New salvation Among the soil Buried in time Choked by eternity The earth has died And so have I flowers of grief Bloom where I fell Slithering through my veins A serpent With fangs of suffering Proceeds to intoxicate me With the venom of a Thousand tears Angelic hues turn to solemnity Forever fading Wings turn to ash Endless fatigue Blooming in grief My spirit trapped
