Cemetery Glow
funeral world, eyes anew we unlive and unravel all of you cast us as wretched, vile wraiths of pallid hue your pulses all turn from red to purple-blue as dusk closes in and twilight is crowned with the embers of heaven's dying fire we rise through the ground we are the fangs in the throbbing tree of life we are walking graves, we are the bleeding night and now we walk through this sleeping land in the darkness, ordained until the threat of approaching dawn lays us to rest once again an empty hearse bears my name

six thousand years, toil upon toil notch upon bevelled bone an almost-eternity to consider your labour's fruits with no intent to atone o, the mount burns white end in sight each step a victory claw forward with grace black throne, black throne black throne on high black throne, black throne to reign for all time opaque shadow vast abyss endless void a chance nor missed six thousand years, toil upon toil notch upon bevelled bone one final ascent, one final ascent to our spiritual home

we are fog, we are nightmares we are the tattered rags of the grave fall into the hungry dirt become one with the shadow that haunts all tombs cold fingers crawl and weave all deathly pale cold fingers crawl and weave their way all deathly pale we are of sulfur, we are of coal we are of Him, we are of Hell all parts of darkness move toward us and we breathe, and we radiate its brilliant void ghost lights in the haze
