Life begins in darkness Conceived and born in vain Another incarnation Resurrected once again Inverted by delusions A sickness in your fate Regrets and faded memories Only ashes left here in your wake When reality fades and all is broken Will we realize time has no mercy? Dead underneath Alone inside Hopeless desire To redefine If only you could change And find a way to believe If only you could take this life and reverse A code remains immortal A pattern left unseen Another wasted timeline Another wasted dream The path of most resistance The only one you take Distorted by your memories Never rising out of this decay We don’t make this cold existence We don’t mean to fall apart And I reach for purpose With only none to find When reality fades and all is broken Will we realize time has no mercy?
