What should I say when I look in your eyes The mirror never lies, (and) that's what I despise Are you a form of alcoholic illusions? My obsession that leads me to this grand delusion? Where are all the faces that used to stand In the image where I see myself as a happy man? -They are all gone and you're all alone You will never get through this sorrow I broke the mirror in thousand pieces With intention to ease my burden And thousands of pieces of my deviant personality Are staring right at me Liquid illusions are seducing my sanity All these faces in the mirror are all full of vanity To hurt myself is the only way... ...to save my soul from decay I'm trying to be a better man Now I'm dying for no rational reason Forgive me for I can't do this on my own And I'll be your fool no more Can't you see, oh, can't you see, they are all staring at me? Day by day we're growing older As our memories fade to dust When we die, or when we forget... Who will carry on our remembrance? So many stories and moments of joy Love disappointments and childhood fears Oh, life is just a spark of flame Burning short, leaving our memories all in vain Oblivion You're the keeper of all of our remembrance Oblivion Can we save our past from you? Will there be anyone who will remember us? Like brothers from the day we were born We didn't care what was right or wrong Living was easy, doing what you feel Unaware that our dreams can never be real What happened, where are we now? The same battlefield, but on different sides Ready to die for false ideals Ready to kill yearning for blood to spill Political whores for their interests Are using war to control and manipulate With intention to create the killing machines -For your country you must kill, you must die But you can never betray Mark my words my friend When it comes to a matter of life and death How many lives are wasted? The power of words and domination Can be used in wrong direction To hurt the souls that are fragile Leading them to desperation A form or an outcome of desire to rule us all A sickness or delusion? Realise that you're not above us all When ego and empathy collide They're forming a wall - wall of selfishness Where no one can enter, but outside - no one is safe Behind this wall there are shallow thoughts Trapped inside this useless empty shell Shining through these frightened eyes Using wrath to cover their own cries.
