It Feeds
The heavy shadow with endless teeth Forever it feeds In the middle of the sky, there’s silence When we die Crippled with anxious breath Tired and giving into this long, dark, eclipse of the soul It’s the fear of the end Where the cold, dark weight of gray Crawls into every vein I fear the weight of an ending Anxious and gray Where love has fallen to misery Blood chills my veins The heavy shadow with endless teeth Forever it feeds In the middle of the sky, there’s silence When we die What if I die and suffer alone? Will my body be buried beside your grave? There’s nothing here but fear in the lowest form Where will the knife take me? Will you cover the darkness? Wash me away And will you sit in the silence? Bathing in grace If death is baiting me, then maybe I’ll bite the hook Satan weeps ‘cause hell lost another one

Walk into this world of black Stone and rust Trapdoor beckoning me inside Locked alone I crawl along and look for a place to die This place has lived in my dreams And now I stand at the precipice A smile stretches at me, abandoned Vision of black grin, white teeth Eating collops of my flesh Without a name but it has to die Revisions of a death note Evil fellowship Dead communion This place has swallowed my home And now I’ll die at the mouth of it The smile spreading its teeth, consuming Can you feel I’ve been here all along? The villain’s alive It’s showing its teeth to me I watch you sleep
