Endless Halls of Golden Totem
The dwindling light The moonlight so pale The wood settles in, the trees they moan As the night casts its veil The creaking of leather, the hooves come to rest While the creatures of old, start beating their chests Memories come forth As I dismount my gelding The smoke from the fire, brings legends of time The body at ease with storms in the mind Sink into my earthen bed, the blaze eschews my sight Our pelts emanate with the smell of the pipe The ranger begins recounting tales of a realm Left unheard and out of sight from the world of men Travellers from afar meaning well on the road Cross between two ancient trees Marked with runes of the old world The air it cooled, their visions blurred, drunk or in dream Vestiges of reality seem to sink beneath the sorcery A doorway to endless night A glowing scape of eidolon A trumpet blasts the warning call Can you see the eyes? Tonight, satyrs ride Lit candles hang from trees, emit a flameless glow Fluorescent falls pool on the path with founts still unseen The sound of the nymphs' lore the weary to call The light from the emerald walls leaves mortal men in awe Purple skies illuminate the moss on the stones Revealing faces so pristine, made by dryads alone A doorway to endless night A glowing scape of eidolon A trumpet blasts the warning call Can you see the eyes? Tonight, satyrs ride They're in the plane where pleasure mixes with such pain Overseen by cloved gods who revel in their wild domain The storyteller is disturbed by a shrill in the air In the night a trumpet sounds, will we face the satyrs stare?

Look down the country road as far as I can see Look down the hole so black, a fear that brings you to your knees Peering in your soul by fire light, I wanna feel you breathe Do what you want in the dark, lay it all on me Put down the steel tonight, come lay with me And in the morning I ride, King Romulus decree I'm leaving on the quest of dreams You've got my heart locked up so tight, it aches to part You're stronger than the rest, protection from the dark arts My horses prepped, provisions made, one last goodbye I peer into your eyes, the world seems to fade one more time Put down the steel tonight, come lay with me And in the morning I ride, King Romulus decree I'm leaving on the quest of dreams Always on my mind, with every slice of my blade And every foe I slay, is a soul I dedicate Wandering through this harsh land I deal pain

Sharpen my blade Put on my hood It's killing day Bring them to my knee Enter my world, it's so crude and surreal Day after day I must punish with zeal Nobody knows Why should they care? I suffer alone in my Executioner's Woe Sentenced to live my life a slave to the state Because of past my crimes on the dark edge of fate Under the king's control, his wish is my command Necks on my metal, a beast of cruelty on demand Dead eyes in a hood The soulless to bear I suffer alone in my Executioners Woe I know I've made my lot in life I could have passed your test But society was cruel to me Deemed sickened and castoff from the rest So if you're ever in the crowd, shouting for someone's end You must know that as the head falls, so does my heart I'm a man just like the rest doomed to dole out shame Faceless summoned killer there, no love and no name Nobody knows Why should they care? I suffer alone in my Executioner's Woe

Who put up these walls stained with time? How could we be so weak of the mind? Still, we press on In the gold, in the frames In the sapphire-blazoned archways Its aura is all Frozen in time, a torch endless flame A wick in the mind is a dangerous thing But you feel the pull A desire that's been But you'll crawl through the pain Into endless halls of Golden Totem Each step takes you away from yourself And the days when you knew who you were But the sands all but drained In the glеam, the allure of the lights Thе mystic and fiendish call of the cult Just a face in the horde Frozen in time, a world made so small A warp in the mind is useful to control But you feel the pull A desire that's been But you'll crawl through the pain Into endless halls of Golden Totem Come back to me, come to know me again I am the sun and the wind I blow in the trees that sustain you Leave the cave that you are in But you feel the pull A desire that's been But you'll crawl through the pain Into endless halls of Golden Totem

Deep beneath the castle walls The cellar stirs with life Ancient texts and secret scrolls Tinctures by the candle light A figure with dark ingredient Grinding powders of unknown name The alchemist's brute stands close by Giant hands and hideous face The alchemist's brute Summoned by the runes An undead in this earthen vessel Found within the tombs Who occupies his empty eyes From whence he came would mystify The alchemist's brute Summoned in the gloom Who stares behind his empty eyes From whence he came would horrify Glowing liquid from the glass Hath mesmerized the brute Filling all the alchemist's needs With robbery and violent spree Knowing only darkened corners Stalking Ilfracombe at night Born alone into the gutters bare A heart of bitter stuff, indeed The alchemist's brute Summoned by the gloom An undead in this earthen vessel Found within the tombs Who occupies his empty eyes From whence he came would mystify The alchemist's brute Summoned by the runes Who stares behind his empty eyes From whence he came would horrify The remains of a virgin Stripped down in the acid bath Sacred bone and precious coin Stolen from the Clerics Hall People of the city don't leave home without a knife Tales of the brute have left the city scared and cold A necessary evil they say The alchemist works for King Romula A shadow general, defeating rivals with any edge Undead soldiers, cursed poisons and tainted winds The brute, he plays his part, he plays it very well Betrayed by man, will he ever find solace From hate and contagion Lost, in violent times No love, his heart is stone Pest, what a wicked thorn Leech, squirms the timid born Hunted, for his wicked ways Lured by Antons impious craft

So you've heard the tales and endless stories About the watch of Starfall Tower's guard A thousand men who simply could not cut it One night on the wall, it will test your power They say that whispers fill the air The ancient treeline wants to draw you to despair When you grip your sword just a little bit tighter And the sun is coming down on you You'll find the courage to stand up taller With the mark upon your steel of Starfall Tower Hounds of blasphemy that scamper without sound The fog it fills the field and distant drums they pound Talking trees and feral beasts will roam the land Fortitude and clout drive the Watchmen's hand When you grip your sword just a little bit tighter And the sun is coming down on you You'll find the courage to stand up taller With the mark upon your shield of Starfall Tower You've taken up the shield You bare the sigil of Starfall Tower You've heeded the same call as the brave before you You will now earn the blazon rite, you will defend the night Can you see the magic in their eyes, the fear it fades Time reveals the tower's secrets and its cryptic ways Its enchantments real, it grows inside you by the day Spirits emanate from Starfalls rocks and metal gates At night the frost it bites, but your inner glow is true No winged fiend or roguish force can ever rise to you

You see the flags As you crest the mountain side Disgraced banners waving A sigil of the dark and dead A battalion of creatures on the edge An now you know it's for the best As the heart pounds from your chest Your fatigue is waning Though you've marched for 40 days And 40 nights in this harsh land Hunting and killing on demand On demand you maim Giving and taking so much pain Consumed by glory light Hope has filled your eyes Consumed by the glory ride It's ok to die Those eyes have seen The world of dreams But that's far from here That's worlds from here You knew it well, you knew it true Now you face the final wall Of dead hearts and cracking skin Of whipping wind and leather tears Consumed by glory light Hope has filled your eyes Consumed by the glory ride It's ok to die Charge on Earth Shakes Light gleams through the clouds Break upon me The rotted flesh, its ghoulish glow My hilt is strong with undead bone My victims scream to me Of how they died and came to turn Revealing their masters magic force Driven by arcanic ways The life force pumps through the decay But we will be standing Dead legions fall like rain Onward to the conjurers lair Put an end to this despair Such a heavy feeling As we approach the mangled keep We've battled dead and hearts so dark The final chapter of this lark I, for one, am certain that victory is ours

Push the boat from the shore It's the last time that we meet Light the fire, stoke the torch Floating pyre sinks into the deep Into the deep Betrayal of time Betrayal of mind The wood it burns and sapphires rage Your hands they melt on the axe that you swung The silver and gold, the price of your soul I feel it inside, a tear comes to pass Was it all worth it, a treasure so sweet Never forget Contrition is divine Fighting beside you Surviving the hordes, the orcs And the dark dungeons of Mirr Protecting the sect, being our best Was it a lie? A conjurer's test? I wade into the shores of your blood You fell into dark, the deception of the throne I wasn't just killing, but setting you free The age of your face seemed to fade at the stake As I charged toward your axe You knew well and good, you needed to die Enter the halls of our clan I wade into shores of your blood And you fell into dark, deception of the throne Deception of the bold Enter the halls of our clan The quest for the celestial regent's hand
