Ich laufe durch den Winterwald, ich zittere, denn mir ist kalt. Weit im Nebel steht er da, er starrt mich an, so stumm und sonderbar. Mit kalter Stimme ruft er mich, es ist der Tod, der zu mir spricht. Weiß wie Schnee, dann rot wie Blut, heute werden die Toten nicht ruh'n. Totenwinter Mein Herz gehört schon lange ihm, so werd' ich endlich mit ihm zieh'n. Sanfte Flocken spür' ich nicht, mit seinen Klauen er mich bricht. My hands are stained with innocent blood, the bodies are rotting in the mud. So many have died because of my bloodrage that drums deep inside. Beyond mountains made of bones I hear the reaper playing his song. The ground of war is calling us. Deliver us.
