In the fire I a saw a feral shape In nights like these, when the dark opens the gate It's not the first time that the shadows speak my name But it feels different, will the goddess lay her claim? She reigns supreme Though you don't see The path she takes The seal she breaks Engulfed in flames, the strangest figure I should be going, but I am petrified When fate is calling, you heed the call Or you become the blueprint of your fall The blazing skies Are calling me Is this the time? I'm crawling in the darkness Left the surface long ago Behind the hidden gateway Underneath the world we know Sometimes I hear the voices Telling tales of sunny days I feed on former glory As I preach the olden ways I don't know if it's day or night I don't know if I cast a shadow Every hour feels the same Maybe it is time to go But a tiny spark is left I can feel the warmth inside Sometimes, when it guides my way It can show me what is right All this time I feared the light That you brought into my life Everyone is on their own I failed to realize As I'm walking down the drain I look into your eyes Everything I tried to be Is gone without a trace Everyone is on their own I failed to realize The spark becomes a flame As the dust turns to stone To see me rise again And take back the golden throne You will scream my name again In fear and agony Obey the sacred order And pledge your life to me
