I was mistaken My eyes have lied That is no mere mountain Rusted metal husk Covered in plants and moss A forgotten ark This is where they dwell Where they took our friends This is where fates Will be decided You will serve the plan Of the Haespiria You are the seed And the vessel As for you my children Belong with us A neural network Surrounding the world From the sky to the earth I am one with the mycelium Back against the bark An itching sensation Glitches in my mind All will be over soon Burning fingers piercing my skin Blood trickling down my vertebrae Roots embracing folds of my brain Draining the sap of my soul As the world fades around me A new realm shines Thrown into a frozen sea I awaken Free of my broken body Escaping gravity I will join the faces Sculpted in the trees A neural network Surrounding the world From the sky to the earth I am one with the mycelium
